Selfie Camera Rescue
Often when our screens get cracked or damaged the front facing camera can become non-responsive or damaged. We can replace this and get you back up and running. Sometimes the front camera is on a flex cable that may also control the Proximity Sensor (A sensor that detects when your face is near the phone to prevent accidental touch input) and another microphone.
Shaky, Dirty or Damaged Back Camera
If your back camera no longer opens and the app crashes or if your camera has spots of dirt on the CMOS sensor (cannot be cleaned off) then you need a new back camera. Another thing we see common is a camera that jitters and shakes. That means that one of the 4 or 6 axis focusing mechanisms is damaged or stuck and replacement will fix the issue.
Glass camera lens replacement
On some models the glass lens in front of your camera can become damaged. In these cases we first ensure no debris got inside the actual camera and if all is good we can often just replace the glass lens at a significant cost savings to you.
How long does a screen repair take?
For iPhones the repair takes about one hour unless it’s the glass lens in witch case takes about 2-3 hours. For Samsungs, LG and some other brands we do the repair between 1-3 hours when the part is in stock.
My camera won't focus! What's the issue?
Usually if your camera will not focus or only focuses on objects at a certain distance then you need a new camera or camera lens. Usually it’s because the camera 4 or 6 axis stabilization or zoom motor has gotten stuck. In witch case a camera replacement will work. Sometimes scratched or cracked camera lens can cause the issue.
I have dirt in my camera, can you just clean it?
If you have spots in your camera when taking photos then most likely what has happened is that debris have fallen into your camera module. The debris are sitting on top of your photo sensitive CMOS sensor. We cannot open a camera without damaging it to clean this. You need to have the camera module replaced. It’s cheaper and faster as well as better.
Can you replace just the camera lens?
On many models we can replace just the glass that protects your camera.
Can you install my part?
We don’t like to but we can. We don’t recommend using parts found on ebay, amazon or so on. We have build a strong relationship with our vendor and have figured out the best quality parts so you don’t have to. Our parts are competitively priced and usually we save people money by using our supply. You also get our 90 day warranty when we install our part. With your part the warranty is between you and who you purchased it from. We are just doing installation.
How difficult of a repair is this?
We certainly recommend having a professional do the repair. A lot of small components, fine adhesive and careful hands are needed.
